The Cardinals are looking to go 3-0 in the Mid-American Conference for the first time since 2013. Quarterback Drew Plitt has been efficient this season, throwing for 1,662 yards, 13 touchdowns and only five interceptions, while adding another two touchdowns on the ground last week against Eastern Michigan. Running back Caleb Huntley leads the team on the ground, adding 592 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns on 126 carries.
The Rockets are in a five-game winning streak over the Cardinals and are looking to make it six. But they might have to do it without starting quarterback Mitchell Guadagni, who was injured last week in a loss to Bowling Green State. That means we’ll likely see Toledo lean on running backs Bryant Koback and Shakif Seymour.
