CFB community mourns the loss of Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson’s wife

The college football world found out some unfortunate news on Tuesday morning, with the passing of Arkansas State head coach Blake Anderson’s wife Wendy.

On Monday evening, Anderson announced he would be taking a leave of absence from the program, to be with his ailing wife. Sadly, she passed away later that night, beside him in the hospital.

The Redwolves’ head coach broke the sad news on Twitter this morning, which received an outpouring of love and support.

Georgia plays host to Arkansas State on September 14th at 12:00 pm.
