Cesc Fabregas trolls Tottenham after Champions League final defeat

Cesc Fabregas nailed his colours to the mast following Tottenham's Champions League final defeat by Liverpool on Saturday night.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds beat Spurs 2-0 in Madrid, with goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi securing Liverpool a sixth European crown.

Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Fabregas - two teams Tottenham consider to be their biggest Premier League rivals - has previously clashed with Spurs legend Graham Roberts on social media.

And he decided to reignite his Twitter spat after Tottenham suffered defeat.

Earlier in the season Roberts took aim at Fabregas' lack of playing time at Monaco, following his transfer from Chelsea.

Fabregas hit back at the time, telling the Spurs hero that he didn't see the north London club winning a trophy this season.

After the final Roberts decided to take aim at the Spaniard, leaving himself open to a retort given that Spurs had just lost.

And Fabregas wasted no time to return fire, sending Roberts a picture of him holding Chelsea's Europa League trophy alongside the caption: "In the end I won more myself from a studio than you guys". Ouch.
