Cesc Fabregas sends classy message to Arsenal fans that they will absolutely love

It's now eight years ago since Cesc Fabregas pulled on the Arsenal shirt for the final time.

Heavily linked with a move to Barcelona after helping Spain win the 2010 World Cup, the midfielder ended up remaining in north London for a further 12 months before re-signing for his former club.

Spending three seasons at the Nou Camp before moving to Chelsea in 2014, the 32-year-old ended his stay in the Premier League back in January as he joined Monaco with first team opportunities at Stamford Bridge few and far between.

Celebrating his birthday on Saturday, Fabregas has been inundated with messages from across the globe on Twitter.

One Arsenal fan tweeted him and received a brilliant reply that will go down well with a large number of Arsenal fans.

He tweeted: "I love you all. Always remember that."

While his exit didn't go down well with a number of supporters eight years ago, it's clear to see that Fabregas still has the club and the supporters in his heart.

The player may have to wait a while to potentially face Arsenal in Europe one last time with Monaco currently struggling in 16th in the Ligue 1 table after a disastrous season at the Stade Louis II.
