Cesc Fabregas delighted both Chelsea and Arsenal fans with a clever response to one of the questions in his Q and A on Twitter.
The Spanish midfielder, currently playing at Monaco, was asked about his favourite Premier League goal.
“Every goal against Spurs will do,” remarked Fabregas, satisfying the rivals supporters of his former teams.
Fabregas actually only scored against Tottenham Hotspur during his time with the Gunners.
The first came in 2007 at White Hart Lane in a 3-1 victory, before another at the Emirates in a 3-0 win.
Fabregas also revealed the truth behind speculation linking him with Manchester United during his time as a Barcelona player.
David Moyes attempted to sign Fabregas seven years ago and the 32-year-old admits there were discussions.
“I wouldn’t say close,” Fabregas conceded. “But I did talk to David Moyes a couple of times.”
Fabregas then concluded his chat with fans on the social network before thanking them for support during his 16-year career.
He stated: “It’s been great chatting with you guys. Should do it more often. Going to get ready for training.
“Big love for all of you and thank you for all the love you give me and given me during the last 16 years.”
