Cesc Fabregas names his biggest fear over N'Golo Kante starting against Arsenal

Midfielder N'Golo Kante has passed a late fitness test to start for Chelsea as they take on Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku.

The French international was rated as a 50/50 chance to feature for the Blues after struggling with a knee injury.

He spent much of the training session on Tuesday with a fitness coach and looked set to miss out.

However he was named in Maurizio Sarri's starting line-up to take on the Gunners.

Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who left the Blues for Monaco in January, has now admitted that starting him will be a risk but one they need to take.

He told BT Sport: "Well it is a risk definitely.

"He just came back from a hamstring injury. He could only train with the team for a couple of days and straight away he got a knock in his knee. He’s probably trying to tell the doctor how he’s feeling. He went the last three days without training.

"Yesterday he trained a little. This morning he woke up feeling a bit better so he will warm-up and see how he feels.

"He will, that’s why he’s trying. I believe he will because he’s a rock."
