Chelsea supporters absolutely love what Mason Mount did before Kai Havertz's opening goal of the Champions League final.
The match at the Estadio do Dragao started off brilliantly, with both sides having plenty of opportunities to score in the first-half as the final was played at a high tempo.
Timo Werner was the man who the chances fell to for the Blues, but the Germany striker failed to convert some clear-cut opportunities.
However, Thomas Tuchel's side took the lead before the half-time whistle in Portugal when Havertz backed up his manager's faith in him and opened the scoring to send the travelling Chelsea supporters wild in Porto.
Mount noticed a split in the City defence and played a perfectly executed through ball to the German, who rounded Ederson and stroked the ball into an empty net.
Chelsea fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Mount's brilliant assist, as the Blues midfielder lit up the biggest game in club football.
A man who knows plenty about wonderful assists is former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas - and the Spaniard heaped the praise on Mount via his Twitter page.
Speaking before the game, Rio Ferdinand and Joe Cole were raving about the Blues star, as well as Man City ace Phil Foden.
"This is the biggest club game in Europe and we’re here talking about two young, homegrown talents, never been seen before that, never been done," Ferdinand told BT Sport.
"It’s testament to these two boys, the way they’ve come in this season and really took the Premier League by storm.
"Every time I’ve seen Chelsea, Mason Mount has been one of the top two or three best players in that team. Every time I see Foden play, he does something in that game that makes you go: ‘Ooo’."
Cole added: “I’m a real romantic about football, and the fact that these boys have come up through the primary school days, the Under-9s, Under-10s, the amount of their heart will be connected to both these clubs and the fans, it’s a beautiful thing.
"One of them is going to lift the trophy tonight and it’s going to be the end of an unbelievable journey.
"I’m so happy that they’re English and they’re going to be going to the Euros and doing all sorts of damage.”
Chelsea went into the half-time break with a 1-0 lead thanks to Havertz's composed finish just before the whistle.
