Cesar Millan to break his stay in Studio City

Feb. 17--Cesar Millan of "Dog Whisperer" fame is ready to release his house in Studio City and has put it on the market at $1.975 million.

The Traditional-style two-story was built in 2012, when he bought it for $1.625 million, and features a formal entry, a high-ceiling living room with a fireplace, a coffered-ceiling dining room, a loft, five bedrooms, five bathrooms and 3,809 square feet of living, sitting and staying space.

A dual-sided fireplace is among features in the master suite, and another fireplace is outside. Lawn, a fountain and a swimming pool complete the grounds.

There's little evidence this is a "dog house" but canine statues and artwork can be seen in the Multiple Listing Service photographs.

Millan, 45, became known as the self-taught dog-training star of the television series "Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan," which aired from 2004 to 2012. The show centered on his work with owners and his dog rehabilitation center in Los Angeles.

Last year, the dog activist appeared in and was executive producer of his latest series, "Cesar 911."

His Cesar Millan Foundation, which promotes animal welfare, recently celebrated its eighth anniversary.

Lisa Gabor of L.A. Property Investment is the listing agent, property records show.
