Chelsea captain Cesar Azpiilicueta has shared an exciting insight into the impact of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner in the club's pre-season training sessions.
The Blues' two marquee additions will provide a significant boost to Frank Lampard's side in the 2020/21 campaign, with less than a month to go until the big kick-off.
Arriving from the Eredivisie and Bundesliga respectively, there may be some fears that the pair will take to settle in England but Azpilicueta has made it clear that isn't what he has seen in training sessions.
"Both of them have shown their quality in training in these past couple of weeks," he told the Press Association, via the Daily Mail.
"We have seen their potential offensively, the way they can create chances and the way they can score goals so they are big additions to the team.
"The quicker and easier they can adapt to the Premier League, the better it will be for everybody so it was good to have them with the group for a few weeks at the end of the season.
"They are already integrated and know everybody so it's been a very good time for that and now we're all looking forward to seeing them on the pitch."
