CES 2020: Bizarre circular smartphone unveiled with two headphone jacks

From toilet smell sensors to tennis ball-like robot companions, a range of weird and wonderful technology has been revealed at this year’s CES technology conference.

And the latest gadget unveiled at the show is no exception - a circular smartphone with two headphone jacks.

The bizarre device, called Cyrcle Phone, has a circular display, and looks much like a compact mirror.

And while most modern smartphones such as the iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S10 lack a headphone jack, the Cyrcle Phone has two.

On its website, Cyrcle explained: “The new Cyrcle Phone is designed to encourage real-life connections through technology. With two headphone jacks, sharing is the new black.”

It looks like a compact mirror (Cyrcle Phone)

The smartphone has dual-SIM capabilities and runs on Android 9 4G LTE.

According to its designers, the round shape was developed with a female audience in mind, with the size and shape better suited to small hands.

On its website, it added: “A non-rectangular phone for non-rectangular people, The Cyrcle Phone exists to inspire a world where you can be you — whatever shape you are.”

Unfortunately, it remains unclear when the smartphone will be available to buy, or how much it will cost.

Mirror Online has contacted Cyrcle for comment.
