Comment: How times change. I once took a Sony PCG-1 mini-notebook PC to a Sun Java conference. I opened it at 10.30 for a Gosling talk and it was flat by noon. However, I do get at least a full day out of a little IBM 240x ThinkPad .. . by packing two "fat batteries" and a thin one.
