Central Village, a luxury outlet, is 70% built and is scheduled to open on Aug 31.
Reservations for retail space in Phase 2 have opened after Phase 1 was totally booked, with more than 65 brands chosen so far.
Wallaya Chirathivat, deputy chief executive of Central Pattana (CPN), said Central Village will launch a marketing campaign in preparation for the grand opening, targeting brand loyalty among the young and affluent, a group that is on the rise in Asia.
The young and affluent group is defined as those aged 25-40 who are successful early in life and have a monthly income exceeding 50,000 baht.
Located near Suvarnabhumi airport, Central Village will help travellers on their way to or from the transport hub.
"We aim to attract over 10 million Thai and foreign shoppers in the first year," Ms Wallaya said. "World-renowned tourist destinations such as Britain, Japan and Hong Kong have their favourite outlets for tourists, and soon Thailand will be proud of Central Village. It will become a must-visit shopping destination to complete your trip."
Central Village will add to Thailand's reputation as a shopper's paradise in the region, she said, adding that the outlet highlights CPN's status as a global player in support of Thailand's tourism sector and economy.
