Central Station in development talks

Cardiff Council says plans are underway on the development of Cardiff Central station.

The information came following questions to the council asked under the Freedom of Information act 2000 by Matt Townsend, who wanted to know what development plans were underway around the station and who the land was owned by.

See his request and submit your own on the site WhatDoTheyKnow.

In response to Townsend, the council said discussions had taken place with Network Rail to seek pre-application advice. Read the response in full here.
