Central Railway to run 42 special trains from Mumbai and Pune to Goa for Christmas season

MUMBAI: Central Railway will run 42 special trains between Mumbai as well as Pune to Thivim and Karmali to clear the extra rush of passengers during winter and Christmas season 2021. This is in addition to 14 special trains announced earlier.

(1) Dadar - Thivim Bi-weekly specials (10)

01287 Bi-weekly special will leave Dadar at 12.35 am every Wednesday and Saturday from December 12 to January 1, 2022 (5 services) and arrive Thivim at 1 pm same day.

01288 Bi-weekly special will leave Thivim at 1.30 pm every Thursday and Monday from December 20 to January 3, 2022 (5 services) and arrive Dadar at 12.20 am next day.

(2) Panvel - Thivim Tri-weekly specials (16)

01289 Tri-weekly special will leave Panvel at 12.15 am every Monday, Thursday and Sunday from December 19 to January 3, 2022 (8 services) and arrive Thivim at 1 pm same day.

01290 Tri-weekly special will leave Thivim at 1.30 pm every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from December 18 to January 2, 2022 (8 services) and arrive Panvel at 10.45 pm same day.

(3) Pune - Karmali Weekly specials (8)

01291 Weekly special will leave Pune at 5.30 pm every Friday from December 17to January 7, 2022 (4 services) and arrive Karmali at 6 am next day.

01292 Weekly special will leave Karmali at 9.20 am every Sunday from December 19 to January 9, 2022 (4 services) and arrive Pune at 11.50 pm same day.

(4) Panvel - Karmali Weekly Specials (8)

01293 Weekly special will leave Panvel at 10 pm every Saturday from December 18 to January 8 (4 services) and arrive Karmali at 6 am next day.

01294 Weekly special will leave Karmali at 9.20 am every Saturday from December 18 to January 8, 2022 (4 services) and arrive Panvel at 8 pm same day.

Bookings for above fully reserved special trains no 01287, 01289, 01291 and 01293 on special charges will open on 28.11.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.

Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains adhering to all norms, SOPs related to Covid-19 during the boarding, travel and at destination.
