One woman has been killed in a mass stabbing in Central London that has left six others injured.
Metropolitan Police arrested a man at 22.39 after he was subdued by Taser. Authorities are investigating possible links to terrorism, but have made no confirmations at the time of this writing.
The victims were taken to the hospital, and their condition remains unknown. The female victim died shortly after officers arrived at the scene.
"Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111," police said in a statement released early Thursday morning.
According to eyewitnesses, a forensics team has erected a tent along Southampton Row, and police are maintaining a heavy presence in the area.
