Central Embassy invites everyone to explore the relationship between creativity and sustainability during "Craft The Earth By Qualy & Friends", which is running at the Open House, 6th floor, until June 30.
Held under the "Art & Design For A Sustainable World" concept to mark World Environment Month, the event has transformed the co-working space into a key destination where art and design become part of a sustainable way of living. Presented are three highlight zones that seamlessly connect craftsmanship with environmental awareness.
The "Art For The Earth" exhibition showcases more than 30 paintings and sculptures by 15 leading Thai contemporary artists including Supalak "Praew" Prapasiri, Korn "Nhau" Neeyapun and Tripak "Moo" Suphawattana.
Through the language of modern art, the artists reinterpret the meaning of a sustainable world by transforming recycled materials into creative artworks. This is also an opportunity for art collectors and enthusiasts to own the exclusive pieces on display.
The "Sustainable Design Market" brings together eco-conscious lifestyle brands led by Qualy, alongside a curated selection of partner brands that combine creativity with environmental awareness to promote practical sustainable living for everyday life.
Participating brands include Eleph, Taxidermy, Moon16, Mola, Rati, SandT, Horoscarf, Moreover, Samethang and On-Time.
Meanwhile, the "Circular Malai By Qualy Workshop" zone invites interested persons to reinterpret the traditional Thai garland through a contemporary design perspective in a special workshop where they will transform recycled materials into an eco-friendly designer garland that can make a meaningful gift for someone special.
The workshop takes place every Saturday and Sunday at 1.30pm, 3.30pm and 6pm. Each session lasts 90 minutes. The fee ranges from 650 to 1,400 baht.
