Known as 'General Force', Nimery Matar Djamous is accused of war crimes during Seleka fighters’ takeover of the country five years ago and the government of the Central African Republic wants to arrest him.

Even the United Nations’ Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) has been after Djamous. But he is not ready to give himself up.

In this exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, the man in charge of the largely Muslim neighbourhood of PK5 in the capital, Bangui, speaks to Nicolas Haque.
