Center Parcs warning to Sherwood Forest visitors after staff shortages due to increase in Covid cases

Center Parcs has told visitors their break could be impacted due to staff shortages caused by an increase in coronavirus cases.. It comes after the company, which is headquartered in Nottinghamshire and runs a village in Sherwood Forest as well as other locations across the UK, warned there could be some disruption.

They say that they have shortages of staff and are experiencing recruitment challenges "like many other businesses" at the current time. In a text shared with Nottinghamshire Live, they say some activity and restaurant bookings could be affected as a result of the shortages.

In the text sent to a guests, Center Parcs said: "Unfortunately, we are being impacted by staff shortages due to the increase in Covid cases. This may lead to some disruption to our normal services during your break. We will contact you directly if any of your activity or restaurant bookings are affected."

In an update issued earlier this month, the company told guests: "Like many other businesses we are unfortunately impacted by staff shortages and recruitment challenges. This means that you may unfortunately find some disruption to our normal services. For guests who have an impacted restaurant or activity booking we will contact you directly."

For all six of its villages, guests can now book in advance up to December 2023 for holidays. The company says this is ideal for those who have a specific lodge in mind that they want to stay at or just want something to look forward to - it should also allow families to plan ahead and look for the best prices.
