Center Parcs' Subtropical Swimming Paradise changes announced ahead of reopening

Centre Parcs is now reopen in the UK after closing its doors earlier this year due to the coronavirus crisis.

The holiday village, which is located in Whinfell, Sherwood, Longleat, Elveden and Woburn, is back up and running and has been sharing updates with customers about changes.

In its latest statement Center Parcs has revealed more details about what holidaymakers can expect to see at the Subtropical Swimming Paradise when it reopens.

Center Parcs has announced it will reopen all its swimming pools from July 27, but with plenty of changes in place to protect customers and employees.

What's more, most of the rides and your favourite slides plan to reopen, but you must plan your visit ahead of time, reports NottinghamshireLive.

Center Parcs' Subtropical Swimming Paradise changes

You will need to book in advance so social distancing can be observed in indoor areas.

A limited number of guests will be allowed at any one time and there will be a maximum number of sessions per break. These are two, two-hour sessions per three of four night break and four two-hour sessions per seven night break.

You will need to arrive 15 minutes before your booking with swimwear on underneath your clothes.

Temperature checks will be in force.

All personal items need to be stored in a locker and guests are asked to bring as little as possible.

Most rides, including the Wild Water Rapids, will be available.

There will be a charge of 10p per person, per session, which will be donated to Together for Shorter Lives.

Showers and driers will not be available.

Food and drink will not be available to purchase

The wave pool will be open, but the wave machine won't be operating

Center Parcs had previously announced its holiday camps, would reopen from Monday, July 13.

CEO of Center Parcs, Martin Dalby, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be able to reopen our Subtropical Swimming Paradise, we know that it is such a key part of the Center Parcs experience for our guests.

"Rest assured we’ve been working hard to make the Subtropical Swimming Paradise as safe as possible for everyone and we have a great plan in place, so getting the green light to reopen feels fantastic."
