Centara Grand offers a taste of Greece

From now until March 24, the World international restaurant at Centara Grand at CentralWorld is holding a Greek-themed buffet by award-winning Cretan chef Yiannis Tsivourakis from Minoa Palace resort on the Greece's Crete island.

Paying homage to the chef's native cuisine that combines Mediterranean cooking techniques with fresh natural ingredients specifically herbs, spices, premium olive oil and seafood, the buffet boasts a large selection of authentic Greek salads, appetisers, vegetarian dishes, seafood entrées and meat-based main courses alongside the restaurant's regular buffet items.

Highlighted dishes of chef Tsivourakis include lamb with lettuce in avgolemono sauce; zucchini croquettes with feta cheese; lamb rack with herbs grouper; and oven-baked pork ladorigani.

Entertaining the buffet affair is Greek-styled string music performed live by bouzouki player Antonios Psyllakis.

The Taste of Greece buffet is priced at 850 baht per person for a weekday lunch; and 1,690 baht per person for a beverage-included weekday dinner.

Lunch or dinner on Saturday costs 850 baht per person while a Sunday brunch costs 950 baht per person.
