Cenk Tosun addresses Crystal Palace future and what had a 'negative effect' at Everton

Cenk Tosun has addressed his future and discussed what had a negative effect on him at Everton.

The striker is spending the second half of this term on loan at Crystal Palace after struggling to break his way into the Blues lineup on a consistent basis this term.

The 28-year-old made five appearances for Everton in the first portion of this season, with his only goal coming against Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park.

Tosun has already equalled that tally for his new side with a strike against Man City, and came off the bench for Palace in their 1-0 win over Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles have the option to buy the striker at the end of the season, and he is aiming to prove himself as much as possible in the coming weeks and months.

Tosun told S Sport [Translated via Turkish-Football ]: "Playing for Besiktas was a childhood dream.

"But then I moved to the Premier League. I loved my time at Everton initially but the change in manager had a negative affect.

"Now I am at Palace, I want to really use this chance to prove myself and stay here.

"I have no intention of returning to Turkey. I want to be here and will fight for my place here."
