For a franchise like the Boston Celtics, the 1990s weren’t just forgettable, they were a stain on the honor of the NBA’s winningest franchise.
Bad luck, bad drafting, bad drafting, management and coaching hires were all on full display throughout the worst decade of Celtics history, collectively producing the worst basketball in franchise history as a result.
So you’ll be forgiven if this era is a blur — or entirely forgotten — for those of you who were around in this decade. And even more so if you’re too young to recall the seemingly endless morass that was this decade (though there were a few things that made it bearable).
But the decade didn’t last forever — and the quarantine inspiring this evening trivia series won’t either. So in the meantime, you can test your knowledge on the latter while we all wait out the former.
