The Boston Celtics play their second game against the Indiana Pacers this evening in their first ‘series’ 2020-21 season (so scheduled to minimize pandemic travel), hoping to avenge the loss the Pacers hung on them in Sunday’s 108 – 107 loss as the team inches back towards health.
In that regard, several of the the usual suspects in recent game will continue to be out for the rematch against Indiana Tuesday night, with starting point guard Kemba Walker (knee) and reserve wing Romeo Langford (wrist) continuing to rehabilitate their respective injuries, while two way big man Tacko Fall continues to heal an irritated eye caused by unknown causes.
Luckily for the Celtics, a hard spill by veteran guard Marcus Smart in Sunday’s game did not result in a lasting injury.

On the side of the Pacers, small forward Jeremy Lamb continues to work his way back from a torn ACL in his left knee, while big man Goga Bitadze is nursing a right ankle sprain back to health.
Indiana will also be without small forward Brian Bowen II (partially tear in groin) and possibly also reserve guard Edward Sumner (illness).
