Celtics-Lakers L2M report indicates multiple no-calls

The NBA released its Last Two Minute report Friday evening, which indicated a missed illegal screen set by Los Angeles Lakers center Tyson Chandler on Kyrie Irving on the final possession of the game, which saw the Celtics lose 129-128 on a Rajon Rondo buzzer-beater.

Obviously, the blame isn’t totally squared on the shoulders of the referees.

However, although Celtics center Al Horford blocked the ensuing shot by second-year forward Brandon Ingram, it could have prevented the Lakers from even scoring in the final moments of the game.

Nonetheless, Boston had plenty of opportunities to increase their lead to where they were not even put in this position. It’ll be interesting to see if any Celtics players, or coaching staff comments on the missed call by the referees.

The missed calls by the referees shouldn’t take away from what was likely the game of the year Thursday night.
