Celtics injury news: Robert Williams downgraded to out vs. Lakers

After being a surprising late addition to the Celtics injury report this afternoon, being listed as questionable, Boston Celtics center Robert Williams has been downgraded once again prior to tonight’s tip-off.

Williams is officially listed as out for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to right knee soreness.

Robert Williams has shined as the starting center for the Celtics, notching a 9-2 record with Time Lord as a starter, averaging 10.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.0 blocks per game.

Williams joins Evan Fournier as the two Celtics out for tonight’s contest against the Lakers. as Fournier remains in health and safety protocol.
