The Boston Celtics were tied to the Philadelphia 76ers via reported trade talks on Monday morning, linking interest from the Celtics in disgruntled point forward Ben Simmons that would potentially require the inclusion of All-Star forward Jaylen Brown.
As you might imagine, such a proposed trade did not go over well with fans and analysts alike, with everything from ire to humor brought to bear on any potential exchange of the two star forwards.
