Celtics coach Brad Stevens and Pete Buttigieg reminded the world they’re doppelgangers on Halloween

Time to break out your Spider-Man pointing at Spider-Man memes!

I didn’t realize it until Halloween, but Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens and presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg look a lot alike. And on Oct. 31, 2019, they leaned into the observation that they’re doppelgangers.

It started with the man known as Mayor Pete, who tossed on a blazer and a Celtics hat and snapped a shot of himself. There were also photos of him “coaching” his New Hampshire team with a “pep talk.” Very well done.

But then Stevens came back hours later with the perfect response, and this is one reason to actually like social media.
