The Boston Celtics started off the first game of their first road trip of the 2022-23 NBA season with a win and followed it up with a 126-120 victory on the Orlando Magic‘s home court thanks to huge games from superstar forward Jayson Tatum (40 points, 8 rebounds) and combo guard Derrick White (27 points, 4 boards, 4 assists).
Reserve forward Grant Williams (13 points, 6 rebounds) and backup floor general Malcolm Brogdon (12 points, 4 assists) were a big help off of the bench for a game that saw star wing Jaylen Brown and veteran guard Marcus Smart struggle shooting from the floor.
