Celtic want triple transfer swoop as Neil Lennon plays down Deadline Day plans

Celtic are planning to make three more signings as they prepare for a 'busy' Deadline Day.

The Daily Record claimed the Hoops made an approach to West Ham over a loan deal for Robert Snodgrass on Saturday night.

Sky Sports also believe these reports to be true, but claim the Parkhead club want two more new recruits before the Monday night deadline.

Their priority is to sign a left-back, but they would also like to add a winger and a centre-back.

However, Neil Lennon refused to be drawn on any speculation over a move for Snodgrass and claimed Celtic are only looking to make one or two more additions after his side's late win over St Johnstone.

He told Sky Sports: "You can throw names at me all you like, you're not going to get a straight answer.

"I think either way, obviously we want to keep everybody but we do want to get a couple of players in if we can."

"I'm sure I'll be with Peter tomorrow, and Nick Hammond, and we'll see things.

"You saw the squad today, it's strong, and with the Europa League we've got all that to look forward to as well.

"If we could just add one more that would be great."
