Celtic WAG Summer Harl has opened up about 'growing her family' in a blog post to celebrate Mother's Day.
The girlfriend of Celtic keeper Craig Gordon spoke on her blog about celebrating mothers and motherly figures this coming Sunday.
On the back of the post, Summer told her readers that if they had any questions to ask her on Instagram, and one fan asked if she would like children of her own one day and Summer revealed that they have been trying 'for quite a long time'.
She said: "Yes absolutely, We would love to grow our family. We have been trying for quite a long time. I have PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) so we have been working our way through that for almost a year. It's really tough, but something that will work out one day."
The syndrome, which affects an estimated 20% of UK women, including celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and Gemma Collins, can make it difficult to fall pregnant as the hormonal imbalances it creates can prevent ovulation.
Summer said in her blog: "So 'Mother's Day' is this weekend, or 'Mothering Sunday' as some call it. An annual celebratory day recognising all the amazing women in our lives.
"Yes, all the amazing women. Because we all know you don't need to be a mother to really be a mother. Sometimes we give too much credit to biology. Parenthood requires love, not DNA. There are the most incredible people leading, inspiring, nurturing, and mothering in all kinds of ways.
"Teachers, carers, friends, nurses, step-parents, godparents, doctors and fathers going it alone - they all mother us. And so on this day, "Mother's day", if you're one of those people - celebrate yourself... for offering a little slice of mothering to whoever is in your life!"
Summer and Craig have been dating for three years and just recently moved into their 'dream' family home in Edinburgh.
Last year, Summer took their relationship to the next level and got a small 'C' tattooed on her wrist.
Summer pens many inspirational posts on her blog and mostly speaks about her life, renovating her new home, travelling and fashion on a budget.
