Celtic vs St Johnstone: Live stream, TV channel & team news

Celtic will be looking to bounce back from last week's bitter disappointment at Kilmarnock.

Knocked out of the League Cup at the last 16 stage, the Hoops will be aiming to put that behind them with a good performance and result against St Johnstone this week.

The injury-stricken Hoops will be without some key men. But it's a chance for some players to stake their claim for a starting spot in the next game which will be away at Ibrox.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of this one...

When is Celtic vs St Johnstone?

Celtic take on St Johnstone TODAY on Saturday, August 26.

The game will kick off at 3pm.

It will be played at Celtic Park

Is Celtic vs St Johnstone on TV and can I live stream it?

No, unfortunately, this match will not be showcased live on TV.

Sky Sports has not picked the match for broadcast on their channels.

Instead, Celtic TV subscribers outside of the UK & Ireland can stream as normal.

Those inside the UK will be able to get live audio should they not have a ticket to the match.

Team news

It was bad news on the injury front for Brendan Rodgers and the Hoops faithful this week.

The Irishman confirmed that Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh will all be out for around two months.

It comes as Reo Hatate was also ruled out for four weeks, which means all the aforementioned names will miss the derby vs Rangers.

There was a little bit of positive news though, with Alistair Johnston now back available for selection.

Mikey Johnston and Oh still remain sidelined for the Scottish champions.
