Celtic vs Real Madrid: Kick off time today, prediction, TV, live stream, team news, Champions League results

Celtic and Champions League holders Real Madrid tonight face off in Glasgow in one of the standout matches from the first round of matches.

Interestingly, despite both teams’ rich history in European football, this will be the first meeting between the two in 42 years, and just the third overall.

Celtic head into the game with confident never higher, having thumped Old Firm rivals Rangers 4-0 on Saturday, while Madrid are never in need of a boost when it comes to the Champions League, even in the face of that imposing Parkhead atmosphere.

Celtic vs Real Madrid prediction

Celtic rightly so fancy their chances against any team at home, even the Champions League holders.

However, the gulf in talent is clear to see, even for the most ardent of Celtic fans, so even a point could be considered an achievement for the hosts. I don’t think they will even get that, unfortunately.

Real Madrid to win 2-0.
