Celtic vs Rangers fixture details revealed as SPFL announce Premiership TV picks

The first Celtic vs Rangers clash of the season has been pencilled in for an early kick-off as the latest Premiership TV picks were revealed.

Steven Gerrard's side will travel across Glasgow on Saturday, October 17 for a 12.30pm meeting with their city rivals.

The derby showdown will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Also selected for TV is Rangers ' visits to Hibs and Motherwell in late September.

Additionally, Celtic 's trip to McDiarmid Park to take on St Johnstone will also be shown live.

Football grounds should be able to welcome back fans on September 14 (SNS Group)
