Celtic vs Livingston team news as Kyogo Furuhashi is rested by Ange Postecoglou

Kyogo Furuhashi has been rested by Ange Postecoglou for this Celtic's clash against Livingston this afternoon.

The Hoops face Ferencvaros in the Europa League on Thursday and the Japanese striker has been named on the bench with Giorgos Giakoumakis is handed a start.

Ange Postecoglou has made three changes in total with Michael Johnston and Nir Bitton handed starts in place of Tom Rogic and Michael Johnston.

Bitton replaces Rogic with the Australian international out injured until after the international break with a hamstring injury picked up against Hibs on Wednesday.

The Hoops will go top of the Premiership with a win this afternoon with Rangers playing Motherwell tomorrow afternoon at Fir Park.

Livi beat Celtic in the reverse fixture earlier in the season at the Tony Macaroni Arena with Andrew Shinnie netting the winning goal.

Lions boss David Martindale has made three changes from the midweek draw against Dundee United with Stephane Omeonga replacing Rangers loanee Ben Williamson, who was sent off in midweek.

Tom Parkes and Shinne replace Alan Forrest and Scott Pittman in midfield for Livingston.
