Celtic vs Aberdeen suffers Premier Sport buffering nightmare as fans left furious by dodgy stream

Premier Sport's coverage of Celtic vs Aberdeen was blighted by technical issues as fans were left struggling to watch the action.

Online viewers voiced their frustration on social media as the William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final feed continually lagged and buffered – especially in the first half.

It meant some supporters missed sections of an electric opening to the Hampden showdown as Neil Lennon's side raced into a 2-0 first-half lead.

Coverage of the game froze repeatedly and it led to plenty of Twitter backlash.

@dandydon76 wrote: "Come on Premier sports, paid for this and it's unwatchable. Keeps freezing. Shocking the SFA let a mickey mouse company show this with such a limited opportunity for audience viewing and so poor infrastructure!"

@mickharkin9 said: "@PremierSport three times in 15 mins had to reset the cast of the Celtic game really poor premier sports"

@Sean1212 said: "Premier Sports is brutal man.... £12 a month for this garage. 540p and still buffering every 2 minutes."

@DuncMcKay wrote: "Class to have missed that second goal cos of Premier Sports' laggy feed"

@tamwilson_ posted: "Premier sports is utter guff. Missed both the goals."

@louiisdavidson added: "Premier Sports is utter s***e. The state of the stream for this game is an embarrassment. Get them in the bin."

The stream improved after the interval as Celtic booked their place in the Final.
