Celtic vlogger 'Irish Mick' suffers mortifying Rangers mishap as Europa League troll goes spectacularly wrong

A prominent Celtic vlogger has suffered a mishap after his attempt to troll Rangers spectacularly backfired.

Irish Mick - who covers the Parkhead club through his YouTube channel - scored an own goal as he filmed himself taunting the Ibrox side just as Scott Arfield netted the opener against Galatasaray on Thursday night.

The Hoops supporter has come in for criticism from the Celtic faithful in the past with skepticism over his accent that often appears to change mid-sentence.

And he was left ashen-faced as Steven Gerrard 's side netted against the big-spending Turks en route to a deserved 2-1 win to secure their place in the Europa League group stage.

Mick had been broadcasting his own team's 1-0 win away to Sarajevo but couldn't resist keeping the party going as he hoped for an away win at Ibrox.

He chanted for Falcao but was quickly left despondent when his new team proved incapable of getting a result against Rangers.

The vlogger will be hoping to return to his full production soon with the pandemic limiting is all-action displays which usually include himself inside Parkhead as he savours the atmosphere that he shares with his subcribers.
