Celtic’s penultimate game of the Premiership season has been brought forward in yet another kick-off switch.
John Kennedy almost certainly has just the two matches left in charge of the Hoops as they play out their first trophyless season for a decade.
Their final match at Celtic Park is at home to St Johnstone next midweek.
The game is being billed as a tribute and farewell to outgoing captain Scott Brown.
The former Scotland skipper bows out after 14 years at the club this summer, having agreed a switch to Aberdeen to join former Hibs teammate Stephen Glass as player/assistant manager.
He’ll make his final appearance at Parkhead against the Saints, with fans encouraged to drop off flags, scarves, strips and banners as the club mark Brown’s loyal service.
The game was originally scheduled to kick-off at 7.45pm, but has now been brought forward to 6.30pm at the request of both clubs.
It’s the latest in a number of time changes this season, with the lack of fans meaning many evening games have been brought forward when possible to avoid later finishes.
Perhaps fittingly, Brown will end his career as a Celtic player by playing formative club Hibs at Easter Road, with the Hoops due in Leith for their final game of the season on 15 May.
