Celtic v Rangers among latest live TV fixtures announced

Sky Sports have confirmed that they will broadcast the first Glasgow derby of the season.

Neil Lennon and Steven Gerrard's sides are due to meet at Celtic Park on Saturday October 17, with a 12.30pm kick off.

There are two other games announced featuring Rangers, and one more including Celtic.

It will be the first meeting between the two sides since December 29, when goals from Ryan Kent and Nikola Katic saw Rangers win 2-1 at Celtic Park.

Celtic won the season's other Premiership encounter 2-0 at Ibrox in September, thanks to goals from Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes.

Speculation persists surrounding the future of Edouard, who has been linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, meanwhile, appears to be nearing the end of his time in Glasgow.

He was left out of the squad for Saturday's 2-0 win against Kilmarnock at Ibrox, and today Colombia-based WinSports journalist Pipe Sierra has tweeted : "CONFIRMED: Colombian forward Alfredo Morelos (24) has formally requested the #Rangers to accept the 20M offer € made by him by #Lille."
