Celtic v Hearts odds, best prices and no sign of James Forrest fire being put out yet

It was Einstein who apparently claimed that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

We're not sure if Albert ever enjoyed a bet, but if that statement is true, then so too is the phrase if it aint broke don't fix it.

Especially when you're punting.

We tipped James Forrest to open the scoring against AIK in midweek at 11/2 "No one is in better form than James Forrest - four goals in four games - and 11/2 first scorer is an excellent price".

He delivered - so why should we look elsewhere for Sunday's tips?

After all, if it's insanity to do the same thing and expect different results, surely it's common sense to do the same thing and expect a similar outcome?

Forrest's price for first scorer has been shaved slightly by the pools.com, but he is still 5/1 first scorer and 8/5 anytime.

Odsonne Edouard, who added the second on Thursday, is 11/4 first scorer - but Ryan Christie at 4/1 is the better bet.

Celtic are an unbackable 1/4 to beat Hearts, as they have done in all three of their clashes this year.

But it's been close each time, the final score 2-1 in all three matches.

What was it Albert said? For that score to be repeated yet again is a long 17/2 with thepools.com and surely worth some interest, as is Both Teams to Score and Either Team To Win which is a solid 9/5 .

Hearts boss Craig Levein has been handed an injury boost with the return to training of John Souttar and Steven Naismith. One will improve his options, the other will increase his firepower and the prospect of an away goal.

So with the match coming just three days after Thursday's exertions - and a welcome but rare clean sheet - Celtic should just about do enough to win, before saving their efforts for next Thursday's Europa League return.
