Celtic are understood to be getting closer to agreeing deals to keep Mark Fotheringham and Shaun Maloney on as coaches.
The pair were valued members of Martin O'Neill's coaching staff during his two interim spells, helping lift the club on both occasions and eventually winning what had looked an unlikely double.
Following his permanent appointment, the veteran boss was keen for both to also return ad be by his side for the season ahead.
However, talks with the coaching duo stalled after the club offered reduced terms.

However, the Scottish Sun is now reporting there has been a breakthrough and deals with both Fotheringham and Maloney are close.
Discussions have progressed in recent days and the pair are expected to be in place when players return for pre-season next week.
Another Celtic coach, Gavin Strachan, looks to be on his way out to land a job at West Brom. It is not yet known if O'Neill will bring in a replacemen to join Fotheringham and Maloney on his staff.
