Celtic unveil pre-season double header as fans set for Pass to Paradise test run

Scottish champions Celtic have confirmed a pre-season double header in the coming days.

The Hoops will face Ross County at 1pm on Sunday before playing Hibernian a day later at 1:30pm, with both games taking place at Celtic Park.

Neil Lennon 's side had aimed to play Irish champions Dundalk but a government decision denied them and back-up side Derry City access to the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But they've managed to find opposition in Scotland anyway and both games will be included in the "Pass to Paradise" virtual season ticket in place for any games that are played behind closed doors.

Celtic will stream all home games in their bid for 10 In A Row this season that go ahead without fans to season ticket holders.

And the two friendlies provide ample opportunity to make sure the system is in full working order ahead of their Scottish Premiership opener against Hamilton on August 2.

Their opponents were embroiled in a pre-season row earlier this week when Hibs received Covid-19 test results too late for a game against Ross County.

The Highland club were already en-route to Edinburgh before being stopped and forced to turn back.
