Celtic transfer target Bright Osayi-Samuel 'undermining' QPR as pundit hits out at contract situation

Bright Osayi-Samuel is 'undermining' QPR as he enters the final few months of his contract at Loftus Road.

The winger can talk to clubs in January as he looks set to leave the English side.

Celtic have been linked with the 22-year-old as Neil Lennon hopes to strengthen his options out wide.

And pundit Ali Maxwell believes QPR have been negatively impacted from Osayi-Samuel's contract situation as his current deal is set to run out.

He said on the 'EFL on Quest' show: "Bright Osayi-Samuel’s contract is up at the end of the season and it means that as of January 1st he can talk and agree terms with clubs from abroad.

"It feels like that’s hanging over both Osayi-Samuel and in his position as really sort of their key attacking player at the whole club.

"Ilias Chair is doing his best and creating chances for the strikers and at the moment they are not taking them and it just feels like something that’s undermining the whole club and that’s not something we want to see."
