CFR Cluj have rejected an offer from Celtic for their star striker Louis Munteanu, according to a report.
The Scottish Premiership champions are said to have submitted an €8m (£6.9m) bid for the Romania Under-21 star.
However, outlet iAMsport.ro claims this was instantly thrown out by Cluj owner Ioan Varga.
Their sources claim the Romanian side wants in excess of €10m for the frontman.
The story goes on to state that Varga, has declared he wants at least €18m for Munteanu, which would work out at around £15.6m.
So, the offer from the Hoops was knocked back, as other teams such as Rennes, Lille and Nice keep tabs on the situation.
