Celtic transfer news bulletin as Ardon Jashari fallout clears path while 'ambitious' Levi Garcia bid launched

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is on the brink of sealing a Treble with the Scottish Premiership title and Viaplay Cup already in the Parkhead trophy cabinet.

A Scottish Cup victory over Inverness Caley Thistle would seal a clean sweep of silverware in Scottish football - but the boss has promised the Hoops won't stop and will look to improve next season. The Australian will be keen to make his mark on the Champions League group stage next term and he could look to bolster his ranks for the challenge of facing Europe's elite clubs once again next term.

FC Luzern captain captain Ardon Jashari has been touted with a move to Glasgow's east end this summer with Celtic named among the frontrunners to land the Swiss international - but a bidding war is expected to breakout when the window opens. However, the 20-year-old appears to already be at the centre of a clash at his current side which could move him closer to the exit door.

Swiss outlet report that boss Mario Frick and head of sport Remo Meyer criticised Jashari in front of the entire team ahead of the clash with St Gallen sparking an angry response from the skipper. The boss attempted to calm the storm behind the scenes stating ahead of the 1-1 draw: "There are two or three things that I haven't liked about him lately.

"I told him that. Ardon and I have a very close relationship. There's nothing wrong between him and me."

Like Jashari, AEK Athens forward Levi Garcia is attracting a number of clubs after lifting the Greek title. He has admitted he was stunned when he heard about potential interest from Celtic this summer - but a move could be scuppered by Lyon.

Homme Du Match report that the Ligue 1 side have launched an "ambitious" bid to land the Trinidad and Tobago international next season. They note that the attacker will be "spoiled for choice over his future destination" but Lyon are "determined" to get the deal done with an early bid.

Jeremie Frimpong could also land Celtic a bumper windfall this summer should he leave Bayer Leverkusen. And transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United have already "positive discussions" with the player's agent.

The deal is reportedly viewed as "attractive" for both the full-back and United. The Bundesliga side will reportedly hold out for a fee in the region of £50million.
