Celtic transfer latest with developments in pursuit of Southampton pair and ex Manchester City star

Celtic are currently in talks over a sensational move to bring former Manchester City 'keeper Joe Hart to Parkhead.

The Hoops are reportedly growing frustrated in their pursuit of Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster, and aren't prepared to wait around while the English Premier League club stall.

As a result they appear to have identified Hart as a target and, according to Record Sport, talks have begun between Celtic and the ex England No1's camp.

The 33-year-old, who spent time at Torino and West Ham after leaving City, has reportedly been told he's free to exit Burnley, and won't be offered a new deal after falling behind Nick Pope.

There's also been a fresh development in the race to sign former Celtic loan star Mohamed Elyounoussi.

The winger will be allowed to leave Southampton on another temporary deal, but the Scottish Champions aren't the only club interested.

Reports suggest they'll face some stiff competition to secure his signature, with La Liga side Real Betis also keen.

He has been training with Neil Lennon's side since pre-season started after an impressive spell last season, and Norwegian website VG Sport says that he's close to making his mind up on a move.
