Celtic 'target' Stephane Diarra has spoken of his pride after being linked with a money-spinning move away from Le Mans.
L'Equipe revealed in November that the Premiership champions were reportedly among a trio of clubs keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old winger.
The report suggested the Hoops had been monitoring the wide man for an extended period and former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers' Leicester City and Newcastle are also believed to keeping tabs on his development.
Diarra has been turning heads in Ligue 2 despite his side battling near the foot of the table.
And the player himself admits while he welcomes interest from abroad, he remains fully focused on helping fire Le Mans up the table.
He said: “My goal is to play as many games as possible.
“It’s good to know that several clubs follow you, but leaving Le Mans this winter? I don’t know. I need to stay focused on my season.
"I’ll watch what is going on and we will see.”
Meanwhile, Hertha Berlin are being linked with a January move for Victor Wanyama .
The former Celtic star's name was a hot topic at the club's AGM last month but boss Neil Lennon refused to confirm whether his side are eyeing the Kenyan powerhouse.
Wanyama missed out on a summer move to Club Brugge after the club's agreed an £11m fee but has only featured once under new Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.
The Bundesliga side, who signed Dedryck Boyata in January, are looking to bolster their midfield options when the January transfer window opens for business.
