Celtic transfer bulletin as Moritz Jenz nears exit door while Giorgos Giakoumakis 'offered' to La Liga strugglers

We are rapidly approaching the business end of the transfer window - and Ange Postecoglou has promised progress.

Celtic fans are eagerly anticipating at least one more new recruit this month after a series of early deals came through the door at Parkhead. Alistair Johnston, Yuki Kobayashi and Tomoki Iwata are all working hard behind the scenes at Lennoxtown and looking to ramp up their game time in the coming weeks during a packed Premiership and Scottish Cup fixture card before January comes to close.

There could also be potential for outgoing with Giorgios Giakoumakis and Josip Juranovic heavily linked with moves away from Glasgow's east end. Ahead of facing Morton, Postecoglou said: "At the moment, progress on incomings and outgoings but nothing confirmed yet. Obviously we are getting to the tail end of the window and I expect progress over the next few days."

But who will be the next player in and out of Celtic Park? Record Sport takes a look.

Giorgios Giakoumakis

The Greek striker remains at Lennoxtown and was spotted at training ahead of the Scottish Cup showdown with Morton, despite being heavily linked with a move to Urawa Red Diamonds. However, his agent appears keen to keep his client in Europe for his next move.

Reports in Spain claim Real Valladolid are the latest club who the player's representatives have made contract with. Relevo state that his agency have reached out to sports director Fran Sanchez over the prospect of a switch to La Liga this month.

The report suggests a move "is not completely ruled out but for the moment it is not an option". They claim that the the Greek international's team have been offering the forward "to an endless number of teams in the last few hours."

Szymon Wlodarczyk

The 20-year-old is reportedly being monitored by Celtic - and they will be happy with what they have seen from the striker. Reports in Poland have credited Celtic with interest in a £4million move - with Anderlecht and Freiburg also named as potential suitors in what would be a record sale for Gornik Zabrze.

He continued his fine form for his club ahead of the end of the winter break. Wlodarczyk netted twice in the 3-2 defeat to CSKA Sofia, and will have no doubt impressed any watching scouts despite his side losing to the last kick of the ball.

Cho Gue-sung

Despite the striker appearing keen on a move to Europe in the summer, the player's representative has not yet given up hope of a move this month. He looks likely to spend the next six months with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, but his agent Yoon Ki-young has left the door open for a switch.

He told Sports Chosun: " We do our best to find what the players and clubs want. I can recommend something good, but it's up to the player to accept it.

"Cho Gue-sung has heard advice from many places about whether it is better to go now or in the summer. If a player wants to go out now, we can do as we have prepared, and if he goes out in the summer, we just have to do as he does now and create many better opportunities. It is my role to do my best."

Moritz Jenz

Defender Moritz Jenz could also be heading for an early Parkhead exit. Several clubs in Germany are interesting in taking the Lorient loan signing this month after he slipped down the Parkhead pecking order following the arrival of Yuki Kobayashi.

Centre back Jenz was not in the squad for the St Mirren win in midweek, and Sky Germany report that time is nearly up for the 23-year-old in Glasgow's east end. He has chipped in with 19 appearances this term but has not featured since November, when he limped off in the 2-1 win against Ross County.
