Celtic youngster Cameron Harper is on the verge of signing a pre-contract with New York Red Bulls, according to a report.
The American has been reluctant to sign a new deal with the Hoops as he wants assurances he will get an opportunity to break into the first team.
But it seems Harper is set to knock back the offer as The Athletic are reporting he will join the MLS side in the summer.
Sky Sports are also suggesting Red Bulls could look to agree a deal to bring Harper across the pond before the summer, in time for the new MLS season.
The Celtic rising star has been a standout for the reserves this season, but has been unable to force his way into Neil Lennon's plans.
However, he did make his debut against Hibs on Monday night as 13 first team players were forced to self-isolate and could lead the line once again as Livingston visit Parkhead on Saturday.
