Motherwell star David Turnbull is set to seal a move to Celtic this week, according to reports.
The 21-year-old saw a £3.25m switch to Parkhead fall through last year after a medical flagged the need for preventative knee surgery.
But, according to the Scottish Sun, Celtic are set to finally land their long-term target in a £3m deal "this week."
They claim the Hoops' scouts Nick Hammond and Gavin Strachan have been keeping a close eye on the playmaker and Neil Lennon wants to make his move now, amidst interest down south.
Turnbull has been the standout player during a disappointing start to the season for the Steelmen and was their man of the match during Saturday's 1-0 Lanarkshire derby defeat to Hamilton.
His exit would be a huge blow to the Steelmen, particularly just ahead of their Europa League qualifier against Glentoran on Thursday.
And Motherwell are set to travel to Celtic Park on Sunday in the Scottish Premiership.
