In-demand Ryan Fraser is being backed at the bookies for a switch to Premiership champions Celtic, reports the Daily Record.
The 25-year-old irked Bournemouth after deciding against signing a short-term extension to see out the Premier League season.
That means the Scotland international is set to become a free agent at the end of the month and oddsmakers believe Neil Lennon's side are the favourites to land him alongside Everton.
Fraser is a wanted man with the likes of Arsenal, Leicester and Tottenham all previously expressing an interest in his services.
The diminutive former Aberdeen academy star has come in for criticism for his decision to depart the Cherries as they fight for the Premier League survival.
But his stance isn't expected to slow down interest in his services from England and further afield with Celtic being backed with cold, hard cash.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Ryan Fraser was wanted by England’s big six last summer, until Bournemouth blocked his exit – meaning he’s basically been on a gap year since.
“Football is a fickle game, and those same clubs appear to now being looking elsewhere, leaving the door wide open for Celtic to land a big signing – albeit not literally, bless him.”
